The school will provide a safe and stimulating environment in which all children can feel secure and achieve their potential.
A feeling of mutual respect, appreciation and understanding will be encouraged, where all will be aware of each others’ social and emotional needs, enabling us to value all members of society irrespective of gender, race, creed or ability.
An accepted standard of behaviour will be led by example and practice, and there will be a structure where everyone knows the consequences of their own actions, both positive and negative. The teaching of positive behaviour will be embedded into the fabric and learning of the school.
All children will have equal access to all areas of the National Curriculum and Religious Education.
The school budget will be managed efficiently to provide resources to support the delivery of the curriculum, and will be delegated where possible and practicable, in order to make targeting of resources more accurate to need.
Teachers, Nursery Nurses and Learning Support Assistants will continue to be trained in school to deliver the curriculum and learning styles appropriate to the needs of the children.
Parental partnership will be encouraged and nurtured.
The school will have a distinctive character and we will be creative and innovative in how we teach and run the school.
We will look beyond our own school and country and learn from others.
